Janice Bray, M.D.

Dr Janice Bray practices adult psychiatry. She is board certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and has Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship training through the former Harvard Law & Psychiatry program in Boston, Massachusetts. Her General Psychiatry Residency  at Yale University, in New Haven,  followed Internal Medicine Internship at UCLA where she also completed medical school at the  UCLA David Geffin Medical School in Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Bray practiced General Psychiatry for five years in Fall River, Marion and Wareham, Massachesetts before relocating to Phoenix, Arizona where she spent 10 years engaged in both direct psychiatry practice and Administrative Medicine.   She comes to Austin private practice with combined experience in private practice, community healthcare operations and Veterans Health Care and brings a wealth of knowledge from clinical experiences with multiple State  Medicaid and the Medicare mental health practice environments.

She values and enjoys collaborating with medical practitioners and fellow psychiatrists and therapists, in providing effective management of patients in need of crisis stabilization, trauma informed care and general mental health consultation; to maximize her patients' ability in achieving wellness and maximizing daily functioning.
