Nienke Gul, APRN, PMHNP-BC

 

Nienke (Nina) Gul graduated from the University of Texas as a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).  She has prescriptive authority and is licensed to perform psychiatric evaluations, medication management and psychotherapy.  She has been in private practice since 2015.

 

Nina primarily works with adults treating a wide variety of psychiatric disorders. Her approach to mental health care is holistic and she views treatment planning as a continuous process which she undertakes in collaboration with clients and, if desired, their families.  Her previous work experience includes critical care nursing as well as clinical research.  

 

Nina enjoys the outdoors and you might see her biking or hiking around the greater Austin area with her husband and children in tow. Nina welcomes people of all backgrounds and will work with each client individually to achieve the best outcomes.

 

The small print:

• Nina sees patients by telemedicine appointment.  In-person visits will be scheduled (once or twice yearly) in accordance with State rules and regulations.

• Questionnaires can be used to screen for ADHD/ADD but a definitive diagnosis requires psychological testing.  Patients who do not already have test results on file will need to have this completed.

• Insurance accepted: BCBS, UHC, Cigna, Aetna.
